Based in Loughborough, between Leicester and Nottingham, Anni specialises in telling a story with her camera. She particularly enjoys photographing families and couples with their dogs or horses and small business owners. Anni knows all the most photogenic corners of Charnwood and Leicesterhsire but is mobile and regularly travels to clients in Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, Warwickshire and Northamptonshire. Her photography reflects our love for natural settings and environmental portraiture: Anni photographs all her subjects in the great outdoors or within the comfort of their own home.
Now, please take a step closer and take a view through the Looking Glass! The business name is inspired by Lewis Carroll’s writing. Just like Alice found an alternate universe behind the looking glass, a new world opens to Anni when she captures life through the mirror of her camera.

It seems like 2018 came and went with the blink of an eye – and it was one huge adventure for me. I have expanded, added Personal Branding for small businesses to my services, photographed my first few baby bumps and even dipped my toes into wedding photography… and 2019 will be even more exciting!
I photographed my cousin’s daughter with her two dogs and her best friend in Germany. It made me realise how much I love working with teenagers and boosting their confidence by showing them how fabulous they look when they are just themselves.
Many clients request sessions in the springtime wildflowers, golden hour portraits in the summer, autumn photoshoots and of course Christmas sessions in November. However, few people plan to book their photo session of the grey and dull months between December and March.

If you follow my Facebook page or have receive the latest newsletter, you will already know that I am supporting a charity auction hosted by the Remus Memorial Horse Sanctuary on the 27th and 28th of October.
The voucher I’ve donated is worth £150 towards a future photography session with me and provides a great opportunity to potentially save a lot of money on your next photoshoot with me.
In August, I had the honour to capture Laura’s and Gareth’s intimate register office wedding in Newark, Nottinghamshire. They made the last minute decision to book a photographer to cover their ceremony, group images and candids of their small wedding party that consisted mostly of family and friends - and I’m so glad I was still available!

Anni photographed Louise, a meditation and mindfulness teacher and the woman behind “Still Calm”, based in Beeston, Nottinghamshire. Together the two hiked to the top of Beacon Hill in Leicestershire and used the stunning views over Loughborough and Charnwood as a backdrop for Louise’s headshots.
Anni spent a morning with Posh Dogs Grooming in Sileby, just outside Loughborough in Leicestershire. She photographed some adorable dogs and documented everything that happens after the owners drop their pooch at the groomer’s.
Sharing these images on my blog has been long overdue: I photographed Sam and her gypsy cob Maestro at Bradgate Park near Newton Linford in Leicestershire before I started blogging my photoshoots last summer.
Many start-ups and small business owners feel like they don’t have the appropriate workspace for a business photoshoot. In March Anni spent a whole day at MinorOak Co-working in Nottingham, using the venue as a backdrop for the personal branding of a number of inspiring women and business owners.
